Supported Charity for 2011 RNLI The RNLI supports the race with first aid and marshal cover. You will see them out on the Marine Drive in their white RNLI pick-up trucks making sure all runners are safe. You will be running past the Scarborough RNLI lifeboat station just before the 1km mark, it is one of the oldest stations in the country. Over the years 15 Scarborough crew have lost their lives saving others. Scarborough Athletic Club (SAC) Scarborough Athletic Club is a friendly, social running club with approximately 120 seniors (over 16 years of age). We meet every Monday at the Filey Road Sports Centre at 18:50pm and on Thursdays at the new 'Silver Royd' Rugby Club at Scalby, Scarborough, at 18:50pm.
