Scarborough AC would like to thank everyone that took part in the 2009 event.
We had over 810 runners starting the main 10k race and over 330 fun runners!

The weather was exceptionally kind to us and the support from all of the Scarborough
community that lined the seafront was fantastic to see.

We never expected the race to be so big on the first year of running!!
Thanks must go to all the runners who entered and ran on the day.
The reason the event came about was to raise money to build a Track & Field facility at Scarborough.
All funds raised from the event will be used to further the development of athletic facilities and
support the youngsters of the region in helping them to achieve their full potential.

There are far to many people to say thanks to for making the event happen but McCain Foods (GB) Ltd must deserve a special mention.  They helped in many aspects of race organisation and enabled us
to put on the event at a level that we hope everyone enjoyed!
